What Is the Neutralization Process for Producing Ammonium Metatungstate?

The neutralization method uses ammonium paratungstate and nitric acid as raw materials to prepare ammonium metatungstate: ammonium paratungstate is added to deionized water and ammonium citrate to form a slurry containing WO312% to 30% concentration. Add 3% to 5% diluted nitric acid to the ammonium paratungstate slurry at a ratio of 1:20 to ammonium paratungstate: nitric acid. Control the solid-liquid ratio to 1: (3-4) and the pH value to 2-4. Heat and dissolve the solution to achieve a relative density of 1.18-1.20. Heat to 80-90 ℃ and control the pH value at constant temperature and volume. Stir and react for 4 hours, age for a few hours, and concentrate the clear solution until the WO3 content is around 50%. Filter and remove the insoluble substances. The clear solution continues to be concentrated, cooled, crystallized, and dried to 80 ℃ to obtain.
