2) Clamp the tungsten boat between the two metal electrodes, place it in a closed cavity, evacuate until the vacuum degree is 5×10-4Pa, and keep the vacuum degree constant.
3) Apply current to the tungsten boat, gradually increase the current, the rate of current increase is 3a/min, until the current is 110a and remain unchanged, until the temperature of the tungsten boat rises to 1000°C, keep the constant temperature for 30min after reaching this temperature, At this time, the tungsten trioxide powder will undergo a reduction reaction, that is, part of the positive hexavalent tungsten ions will be converted into positive pentavalent tungsten ions; then stop the current and let the tungsten boat cool down naturally to room temperature.
4) Fill the closed cavity with inert gas such as nitrogen until the atmospheric pressure is restored, open the cavity and take out the tungsten boat. The purpose of feeding inert gas is to equalize the pressure inside and outside the cavity, which is conducive to opening the cavity, and at the same time prevents positive pentavalent tungsten ions from being oxidized into positive hexavalent tungsten ions.
5) The residual tungsten trioxide powder in the tungsten boat has been condensed, and the condensed matter can be poured out to obtain purple tungsten oxide nanowires.
