According to international trade data, China is the world’s largest producer and consumer of molybdenum, as well as an exporter of molybdenum. China’s molybdenum exports are mainly concentrated in raw materials and alloy products. According to data released by the General Administration of Customs of China, from January to December 2021, China’s export volume of molybdenum and molybdenum products was 21,700 tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.8%. Among them, the largest export destinations are South Korea, Japan, India, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
