The preparation methods of brown tungsten mainly include chemical method, physical method and mineral method. The chemical method is to prepare brown tungsten WO2 through chemical reaction, such as the reaction of tungstic acid and ammonium salt at high temperature to obtain WO2; or the reduction reaction of tungsten powder with copper oxide, copper chloride and other mixtures at high temperature to obtain WO2. Physical methods mainly include thermal decomposition method, sputtering method, etc., and WO2 is obtained by decomposing tungstate and other substances at high temperature. Mineral method is to extract brown tungsten (tungsten dioxide WO2) from tungsten-containing ore through beneficiation, heat treatment and other technological processes.
