What Is the Electrical Conductivity of Titanium Zirconium Molybdenum Alloy?

The conductivity of titanium-zirconium-molybdenum (TZM) alloy is about 19.6-24.8 MS/m at room temperature, and the specific value may vary slightly, depending on the ratio of each element in the alloy and the preparation process. As with thermal conductivity, additions of zirconium and titanium can affect the electronic structure and lattice structure of the alloy, reducing its electrical conductivity. Compared to pure molybdenum, the electrical conductivity of TZM alloy is slightly lower, but it is still a good conductive material. In a high-temperature environment, the electrical conductivity of TZM alloy may decrease, but its high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance are still relatively excellent. Therefore, TZM alloys are still widely used in some high-temperature electronic devices and high-temperature structural materials.
