Tungsten Dichloride Dioxide (Tungsten Dichloride Dioxide) is a thin yellow lamella, sensitive to moisture in the atmosphere. The reaction tubes must therefore be opened in a dry nitrogen atmosphere and stored under vacuum or dry inert gas. Decompose in hot water, insoluble in ethanol, soluble in ammonia and alkali. Tungsten Dichloride Dioxide is stable at normal temperature and pressure. Materials to avoid for Tungsten Dichloride Dioxide are: moisture/moisture oxides, alkali metals.
