Sodium paratungstate (Sodium Paratungstate) is also known as “sodium heptatungstate hexadecanoate”, chemical formula Na6W7O24·16H2O, and sodium paratungstate chemical formula is Na10H2W12O42·27H2O, molecular weight of sodium paratungstate is 2097.12, relative density is 3.987. Sodium paratungstate is a colorless triclinic crystal. When heated to 100°C, it loses 12 molecules of crystallization water, and at 300°C loses 16 molecules of crystallization water, and becomes anhydrous. Sodium paratungstate dissolves in cold water and decomposes in hot water.
