Ammonium tetrathiotungstate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula (NH4)2WS4. Ammonium tetrathiotungstate is thermally decomposed to produce tungsten trisulfide at 170~280°C, and tungsten disulfide at 260~500°C. Like other ammonium salts, ammonium tetraselenide tungstate will decompose when heated. Decompose according to the following formula under reduced pressure (11mmHg N2):
The decomposition temperature is 230°C. The product tungsten triselenide is decomposed into tungsten diselenide and selenium at 230~305℃, and tungsten diselenide is decomposed into simple substance at 305~470℃.
