By hydrothermal/solvothermal method, using Nb2O5 as raw material and octanol as solvent, niobium tungstate with pyrochlore structure was synthesized. Niobium tungstate has ion exchange performance, photocatalytic performance and rare earth ion Luminous properties. Micron-scale KNbWO6•H2O with defective pyrochlore structure was synthesized by hydrothermal and solvothermal methods, and the compound’s ion exchange performance and photocatalytic performance.
