Tungstic acid (Tungstic Acid), the molecular formula is H2WO4, the molecular weight is 249.86, and the appearance is yellow powder. Density 5.5g/cm3. The boiling point is 1473°C, when heated to 100°C, it will lose 1 molecule of water and become tungstic anhydride.
Insoluble in water, almost insoluble in sulfuric acid, nitric acid, dilute hydrochloric acid, hydroiodic acid and hydrobromic acid, slightly soluble in concentrated hydrochloric acid and caustic soda solution, easily soluble in alcohol solution of hydrofluoric acid, ammonia and hydrochloric acid.
