In 2022, China’s non-ferrous metals industry as a whole showed a stable and positive development, with the output of 67.74 million tons of ten commonly used non-ferrous metals, an increase of 4.3% year-on-year, achieving a profit of RMB 331.5 billion, the second highest value in the industry’s history. As a non-ferrous industry is extremely important tungsten and molybdenum industry, 2022 also made a good development trend.
The tungsten industry achieved revenue of 114 billion yuan in 2022, up 7.6 percent year-on-year, and realized profits of 8 billion yuan, up 35.6 percent year-on-year. 2022 saw record revenue and profits for the tungsten industry.
