According to Chinatungsten Online, the average price of molybdenum products in China in the second quarter of 2023 performed generally as a whole, i.e. down YoY and up YoY.
In the second quarter of 2023, the average price of molybdenum concentrate in China was RMB3,435 per tonne, down 28.68% YoY and up 24.23% YoY; the average price of ferromolybdenum was RMB232,226 per tonne, down 28.35% YoY and up 28.42% YoY; the average price of molybdenum oxide was RMB3,532 per tonne, down 28.12% YoY and up 23.11% YoY; the average price of sodium molybdate was 157,242 yuan/ton, down 28.08% YoY, up 21.47% YoY; the average price of ammonium tetramolybdate was 226,371 yuan/ton, down 27.65% YoY, up 27.78% YoY; the average price of ammonium heptamolybdate was 230,532 yuan/ton, down 27.38% YoY, up 26.23% YoY; the average price of molybdenum powder was 449 yuan/kg, down 25.04% YoY, up 25.04% YoY. 25.04%, up about 23.69% year-on-year; the average price of molybdenum bar is RMB 478/kg, down about 23.76%, up about 36.96% year-on-year.
