China’s molybdenum products imports from January to July 2023 totaled 27,728.99 tons, an increase of 8.99% year-on-year; the cumulative import value was 4.439 billion yuan, an increase of 86.50% year-on-year. Among them, China’s molybdenum products imports in July was 6,024.29 tons, an increase of 49.91% sequentially and 41.84% year-on-year; the import amount was 891 million yuan, an increase of 46.85% sequentially and 70.37% year-on-year.
In July 2023, China imported 851.94 tons of ferromolybdenum, an increase of 145.80% year-on-year; 261.00 kg of molybdenum powder, an increase of 770.00% year-on-year; 1.91 tons of molybdenum wire, a decrease of 53.23% year-on-year; and 121.83 tons of ammonium molybdate, an increase of 387.13% year-on-year.
