Chinatungsten Online compiles China’s tungsten products import data released by General Administration of Customs as follows:
From January to July 2023, China’s tungsten products imports totaled 4842.22 tons, an increase of 11.85% year-on-year; the cumulative amount of imports was 786 million yuan, an increase of 3.08% year-on-year. Among them, China’s tungsten products imports in July totaled 1,047.73 tons, up 194.98% year-on-year, up 34.96% sequentially; the cumulative import value was 130 million yuan, up 35.75% year-on-year, up 2.94% sequentially.
In July 2023, China imported 3073 kg of tungsten powder, an increase of 216.48% year-on-year; 543 kg of tungsten wire, a decrease of 30.30% year-on-year; 140.35 tons of sodium tungstate, an increase of 20.85% year-on-year; 2,043 kg of tungsten carbide, a decrease of 78.78% year-on-year; and 5,615 kg of tungsten trioxide, an increase of 127.05% year-on-year.
