According to Chinatungsten Online research and collation of customs data, China’s molybdenum products imported in July 2023 was 6,024.29 tons, an increase of 49.91% sequentially, an increase of 41.84% year-on-year; the amount of imports was 891 million yuan, an increase of 46.85% sequentially, an increase of 70.37% year-on-year.
Among them, China imported 1,098.80 tons of roasted molybdenum ore and its concentrate in July, an increase of 3.66% year-on-year; 125.04 tons of molybdenum oxides and hydroxides, an increase of 554.43% year-on-year; 121.83 tons of ammonium molybdate, an increase of 387.13% year-on-year; 851.94 tons of ferro-molybdenum, an increase of 145.80% year-on-year; and 261.00 kg of molybdenum powder, a 770.00% year-on-year; molybdenum wire 1.91 tons, down 53.23% year-on-year; other molybdenum products 1.47 tons, down 71.93% year-on-year.
