According to Chinatungsten Online research and compilation of customs data, China’s molybdenum products imports from January to July 2023 totaled 27,728.99 tons, an increase of 8.99% year-on-year; the cumulative amount of imports was 4.439 billion yuan, an increase of 86.50% year-on-year.
Among them, China imported 4,625.19 tons of roasted molybdenum ore and its concentrate in January-July, an increase of 120.25% year-on-year; 18,584.54 tons of other molybdenum ore and its concentrate, an increase of 27.81% year-on-year; 366.51 tons of molybdenum oxides and hydroxides, an increase of 1.91% year-on-year; 348.89 tons of ammonium molybdate, a year-on-year decrease of 65.32%; other molybdate Salt 1,082.39 tons, an increase of 71.76% year-on-year; ferromolybdenum 2,501.64 tons, an increase of 140.39% year-on-year; molybdenum powder 2.35 tons, a decrease of 81.33% year-on-year; molybdenum wire 10.26 tons, a decrease of 33.20% year-on-year; and other molybdenum products 26.10 tons, a decrease of 5.08% year-on-year.
