According to Chinatungsten Online research and compilation of customs data, China’s molybdenum products export volume in August 2023 was 3,468.99 tons, an increase of 25.45% from a year earlier and an increase of 67.82% year-on-year; and the export amount was 903 million yuan, an increase of 17.11% from a year earlier and an increase of 132.71% year-on-year.
Among them, China exported 1,197.85 tons of roasted molybdenum ore and its concentrate in August, an increase of 162.45% year-on-year; 26.71 tons of ammonium molybdate, a year-on-year decrease of 56.57%; 1,130.90 tons of ferromolybdenum, a year-on-year increase of 37.19%; 45.25 tons of molybdenum powder, a year-on-year increase of 39.96%; 19.66 tons of molybdenum wire, a year-on-year decrease of 20.98%; other molybdenum products 12.56 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 13.25%.
