According to Chinatungsten Online research and compilation of customs data, China’s molybdenum products imports in August 2023 were 6,312.93 tons, an increase of 4.79% sequentially and 30.24% year-on-year; and the amount of imports was 1.029 billion yuan, an increase of 15.48% sequentially and 79.46% year-on-year.
Among them, China imported 1,546.90 tons of roasted molybdenum ores and their concentrates in August, an increase of 16.77% year-on-year; 191.09 tons of molybdenum oxides and hydroxides, a decrease of 13.56% year-on-year; 108.02 tons of ammonium molybdate, an increase of 124.95% year-on-year; 922.00 tons of ferromolybdenum, a year-on-year increase of 1,436.67%; molybdenum powder 201.00 kg, a year-on-year decreased by 66.78%; molybdenum wire 6.89 tons, increased by 83.07%; other molybdenum products 2.49 tons, decreased by 8.97%.
