According to Chinatungsten Online research and collation of customs data, China’s molybdenum products imports from January to August 2023 totaled 34,041.91 tons, an increase of 37.28% year-on-year; the cumulative amount of imports was 5.469 billion yuan, an increase of 85.13% year-on-year. Among them, the import volume of ammonium molybdate was 456.91 tons, down 56.65% year-on-year; the import amount was 106 million yuan, down 36.03% year-on-year.
