What Is Black Tungsten Wire?

Due to the drawing conditions of tungsten wire, graphite is used as lubricant. Heating with natural gas or electricity will oxidize the surface of the tungsten wire. Both graphite and tungsten oxide will adhere to the surface of the tungsten wire. This is black tungsten wire. Black tungsten filament is mainly used to produce spiral incandescent lamp filaments, cathodes and bracket structures of electric vacuums, heating elements of high-temperature furnaces and evaporation sources for gold plating processes. Manufacture of electric light sources and electric vacuum parts, used as high-temperature heating elements and high-temperature structural parts, and used to make tungsten spirals for vacuum evaporation. Thick tungsten wire, after straightening, surface polishing, and cutting into rod shapes, is widely used as glass-metal sealing parts in the lighting and electronic industries.
