Cerium tungsten pin is a tungsten electrode product made by adding rare earth cerium oxide to the tungsten base through powder metallurgy and rolling, grinding and polishing processes. It is the earliest non-radioactive tungsten electrode product produced in China. It has excellent arc starting performance and low arc maintaining current under low current conditions. Therefore, it is often used for welding pipes, stainless steel products and small precision parts. In addition, under low current DC conditions or when the electrode diameter is below 2.0mm, cerium tungsten electrodes are the preferred alternative to thorium tungsten electrodes.
