The working principle of tungsten contact probe is based on the resistance heating effect. When the current passes through the tungsten wire, due to the resistance of the tungsten wire, heat is generated to increase the temperature of the tungsten wire. When the temperature of the tungsten wire is high enough, the electrons inside it obtain enough energy and are released in the form of a high-energy electron beam. When these high-energy electron beams scan the sample surface, they interact with the sample, thereby stimulating various physical and chemical information of the sample.
