Applications include hot-forging molds, piercing needles, and smelting furnace components, requiring high-temperature and mechanical stress resistance. Advantages include wear resistance and high-temperature stability; disadvantages are poor low-temperature toughness and oxidation sensitivity. Quality control involves mechanical testing and chemical analysis to meet metallurgical demands.
