The process is as follows: Dissolve 1 kilo of sodium tungstate in 2 liters of water and add hydrochloric acid (dilution 1: l), slowly and with stirring, until the solution is neutral to litmus paper. An acid reaction is un- desirable. Transfer the solution to a large flask or bottle.
