How To Prepare Cesium-Doped Tungsten Oxide Nanoparticles for Coating Glass?

Two-step method for preparation of hexagonal cesium-doped tungsten oxide nanoparticles: the precursor was prepared by drying the mixture of WO3 sol and CsCl, resulting in a high Cs/W (0.32) ratio at low temperature in a short time. During the reaction, oleic acid used as a solvent can be adsorbed on the surface of CsxWO3 nanoparticles, thereby obtaining the target powder with smaller particle size (20nm × 10nm) and moderate agglomeration. In addition, oleic acid also acts as a reducing agent during the formation of Cs0.32WO3 nanoparticles without any further post-treatment.
