Tungsten tetrabromide (WBr4): The melting point of tetrabromotungsten is relatively high. According to literature data, the melting point of tetrabromotungsten is about 266-270°C. The melting point of tetrabromotungsten is about 270°C.
Tungsten dibromide (WBr2): In contrast, tungsten dibromide has a lower melting point. According to literature data, the melting point of tungsten dibromide is about 155-160°C.
