From January to May 2023, the added value of industries above designated size in Baotou City increased by 21.1% year-on-year, 2.3 and 1.3 percentage points faster than the first quarter and January-April respectively, higher than the national (3.6%) and the region (6.8%) respectively. 17.5 and 14.3 percentage points, maintaining double-digit growth for 33 consecutive months.
From January to May 2023, the added value of the six key industries increased by 20.9% year-on-year, an increase of 2.1 percentage points from January to April, accounting for 73.1% of the added value of industries above designated size, and contributing 72.4% to industries above designated size. Compared with January-April, it increased by 3.3 percentage points. Among them, the photovoltaic manufacturing industry (silicon) increased by 96.2%, and contributed more than half of the industry above the designated size, reaching 54.1%. down 7.9%. The output of more than half of the products increased.
