According to Chinatungsten Online research and compilation of customs data, China’s molybdenum products imports from January to September 2023 totaled 43,181.07 tons, a year-on-year increase of 51.36%; the cumulative amount of imports was 6.938 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 105.78%.
Among them, China imported 8,431.90 tons of roasted molybdenum ores and their concentrates from January to September, an increase of 123.85% year-on-year; 27,690.66 tons of other molybdenum ores and their concentrates, an increase of 37.08% year-on-year; 728.61 tons of molybdenum oxides and hydroxides, a year-on-year decrease of 15.36%; 684.92 tons of ammonium molybdate, a year-on-year decrease of 36.11%; other molybdates salt 1,407.96 tons, an increase of 92.24% year-on-year; ferromolybdenum 3,963.64 tons, an increase of 158.28% year-on-year; molybdenum powder 2.62 tons, a decrease of 80.36% year-on-year; molybdenum wire 19.60 tons, a decrease of 15.71% year-on-year; and other molybdenum products 30.22 tons, a decrease of 14.36% year-on-year.
