Commonly used carbide blade materials are YG8 or YW2. The geometric parameters of the cutting part of cemented carbide drill bits are generally: γ0=0°-5°, α0=10°-15°, 2φ=110°-120°, ψ=77°The main cutting edge is ground into a small size of R2x0.3 arc.
