Cemented carbide drilling broken rock can be divided into two categories, namely the plastic rock crushing process and the brittle rock crushing process. The former regards the rock crushing process as having obvious high plasticity, so the rock crushing during drilling is in the same state as metal cutting. The relationship between external load and crushing is mainly a mechanical balance analysis; the latter takes into account the existence of brittle crushing in the rock crushing process, so it is analyzed based on the rock crushing mechanism at the bottom of the hole. When drilling carbide, the alloy is acted upon by two forces. If the rock is brittle, the stress-bearing body will be sheared and pushed out; if the rock is soft and plastic, a layer of rock in front of the alloy will be cut away, and the working surface at the bottom of the hole will become spiral and deepen.
