Influence of too high sintering temperature on properties of tungsten alloy

Excessive sintering temperature will have adverse effects on the properties of tungsten alloys, mainly in the following aspects:

1. Tungsten alloy grain growth: high temperature sintering will lead to the growth of tungsten alloy grain, which will reduce the toughness and tensile strength of the material.

2. Formation of intermetallic compounds: high temperature sintering will promote the formation of intermetallic compounds in tungsten alloys, and these compounds will lead to increased brittleness of the material.

3. Formation of porosity and defects: Excessively high sintering temperature will cause porosity and defects in the material, which will reduce the strength and toughness of the material.

4. Changes in chemical composition: high-temperature sintering will cause chemical reactions of elements in tungsten alloys, which will change the chemical composition and affect the performance of the material.

Therefore, in order to ensure the performance of tungsten alloy, the sintering temperature must be controlled to avoid adverse effects on the material due to excessive temperature.
